Happy July 4th!
Present with a Bang!


A speech is a lot like the 4th of July Fireworks! 

They start off with a bang that gets everyone interested immediately.  Then there are several minutes of a variety of engaging patterns being exploded into the air.  At the very end there is the big finale.  The moment we have all been waiting for! The next time you write and present a speech, think of the 4th of July Fire Works.  It has a strong opening where it grabs our attention, throughout the body of the show there is lots of variety: different sounds, different colors, different patterns, and at the end there is a big finale and the show ends with a huge bang!

That's the formula for every presentation, have a strong opening, include vocal variety, body gestures, and interesting material to engage the audience, and then have a strong closing. Leave your audience with impact and go out with a bang!

Do this and your audience will benefit from your presentations!  If your audience benefits, guess who else will benefit?  YOU!
