Ways to Keep Your Audience Engaged

If you do not keep your audience engaged it will be difficult for them to stay awake, alert and alive.  If they are not attentive, they will not hear what you have to say and therefore you will not get the results you want from your presenations.  Get the restuls you want and keep them engaged with some of these techniques.
                                                                                             Ten ways to engage your audience and keep them awake
 
1 - Change it up every 3-5 minutes
2 - Add pauses - speak with punctuation
3 - Get audience involved even if it's saying "by a show of hands, who has..."
4 - Include stories
5 - Include humor
6 - Use examples that relate to your audience
7 - Use their names and refer to people they know

8 - Speak with emotion and vocal variety

9 - Bring out your true personality and be yourself

10 - Add body language that enhances your presentation

While you are using these tools to keep your audience engaged, be sure to present with total confidence so that your audeince will have confidence in you and what you are presenting.
